Mission
Downtown Kannapolis Inc. provides community-based leadership in achieving the vision for downtown Kannapolis in partnership with local government, businesses, and property owners. We are a sustainable organization working for the citizens of Kannapolis. Formed in 2011, DKI strives for a thriving downtown through marketing and promotion, coordination of events and programs and support of investments in the physical environment. We want everyone to “Experience Downtown Kannapolis.”
Vision
Downtown Kannapolis captures the heart of our community with its aesthetic charm and history. It is the epicenter for health & nutrition activity in the region and serves as a gathering place for social, cultural, civic and business activities, incorporating a thriving mix of uses.
